You can take a free walk around the campus of the oldest and most historical University in Kyoto and enjoy a nice lunch at the cool cafe inside the campus. This plan is recommend especially for those who have been fed up with incredible number of tourists they encounter in the sightseeing spots in Kyoto. Because this is the daily walking path for local Kyotoites and they enjoy viewing nice sceneries, dropping in shrines and temples depending on their mood.
By picking up this plan, I'm sure you can have same type of pleasure as they do.
Since the University I'm introducing has made a number of Nobel Prize winners and gained an excellent reputation, people tend to consider it should be ''off-limits'' inside the campus. However, this is not the case and the University allows us to take a free walk certain area inside the campus. There is a reasonably priced cafe where you can take a lunch.
I'm a graduate of this University and played baseball while I was a student. Right now, I'm engaged as vice-chairman for the organization of former members of the baseball team and make a point of visiting baseball ground a couple of times a month to support the current players. This is why I can introduce interesting places on and off the campus very well. Being a graduate of the University I am privileged to introduce the surrounding areas which are the favorite spots for the walks of the students and neighbors.
I've been working as a licensed English tour guide for 7 years. With 7 years of experience, I'm quite confident this is the best plan, because all of the guests I have guided on this course gave me their appreciation by saying this is what they had been looking for every time they were in Japan.
This time, I'm only introducing a cool cafe where you can eat lunch inside the campus. In addition, if you purchase the Basic Plan and ask for my suggestions, I'm willing to give you a more information about a ''cut-priced Cafeteria'' where many students take lunch.
Further, please take note that, if you agree to make UP-grade, I'm more than happy to re-arrange your plan including the reservation of a high-class, but reasonably priced French restaurant which is also located inside the campus and the visit to the one of the most popular temples in Kyoto.

I had lunch in university in Kyoto!! Amazing!
Although this itnerery didn’t include VERY famous temples and shrines, all places I visited were really excellent! I dropped off some cute shops sometimes during my tour in Philosopy load.
As I never thought I could go and enter the university in Kyoto, it was really wonderful experience!
I had lunch in the cafe there. It was nice and reasonable price. Besides lunch, I found some exibition of old school senery and old uniforms. An English explanation regarding history of this university was there.
As I was getting tired of many people at famous spots, it was really nice experience for me to enjoy REAL LOCAL KYOTO LIFE in the City.
If you have one more additional day to be in Kyoto and if you are tired of a lot of tourists, I highly recommend you to go there!
