Japan has only five castles designated as national treasures, among which this Castle is the oldest wooden castle keep. Visitors can fully enjoy and have an entertaining time here with the castle and the town. Located about 40 minutes from Nagoya, central Japan, visitors can see the shape of the castle as it was approximately 480 years ago.
After an exclusive panoramic view from the top floor of the castle keep over the castle grounds and Kiso River, travelers will stroll around a Japanese garden which has the teahouse of Joan, designated as a national treasure. At Kyu Shodenin Shoin next to Joan, they will take a short break with Matcha and Japanese confectionery which is only served here, whilst enjoying views over the tranquil garden.
Before exploring the castle town, a huge diorama at the museum, which reproduces the castle town of the Edo period will give you the opportunity to learn how it worked and add more interest when you compare it with the present one. The castle town will also delight you with eating-out and shopping.

For more detailed information on foods etc. in this area, the reference link will be provided on the first spot page. (It will be available after purchasing this tour.)
